These headers fit my 88 D150 very well. The passenger side will enter through the top with enough wobble. (The washer fluid reservoir gets in the way, but it moves enough to insert the manifold.) The driver's side needs to go through the floor. And you need to reset the launcher (trust me I tried to install it without removing the launcher, it's impossible). I have a factory mini starter so that's not a problem. You may need to purchase a mini starter if your truck has a larger starter. At the moment I'm using the gaskets that come with the manifolds. Just in case I have a set of Percy pads. So far, so good. The only thing that annoys me is that the screws in the kit are the wrong size. So a trip to the hardware store was necessary. never mind
