These pliers were packaged very well and included clips which were really helpful. My hair is below my shoulders, very thick, coarse and wavy, and I found it curled very nicely. It tames my unruly hair much easier than a straightener because it detangles when heated and you can get close to the scalp without burning because the bristles don't get hot. The only problem I had was my hair getting tangled in the bristles once I started using it. As I used it more I realized that the best technique was to take smaller strands of hair and wrap them around the wand starting at the roots and working through to the ends, it was much easier and didn't get tangled. a lot of. It works as it should and I'm glad I tried it. I can definitely recommend this styling brush!
