That does what it says on most cars. Read/program/relearn TPMS sensors. This device allows you to program Autel MX sensors. The device comes in a very nice big plastic storage box with USB cable, power adapter, magnet (for old TPMS sensors), software CD and documentation booklet. The documentation recommends charging 2 hours before use, which is what I did. After charging, you should go to their website and download the latest updates. You can use the software CD that came with your device to install it, or you can download a newer version from the website. The update was easy and straightforward. Simply extract the 2 files from the downloaded update from their website and select them in the TS401 update software. The device is easy to use. Although the interface can be a bit unintuitive and new users often confuse the "Transfer" and "[Y]" buttons. There are several areas where you can click [?] for help. However, something is missing here too. Some screens just seem to show text to fill in the gap. Please note that this device will not work if your vehicle does not have a TPMS sensor. It's not a tire pressure sensor. It only reads information from a sensor that reports pressure, temperature and ID. I still found 2% of cars it doesn't support. There is no interface, but it copes with its task. Several times I got stuck in a menu or feature, or a specific feature stopped working, forcing me to turn the device off and on again. I was able to program the Autel MX One sensors without any problems. I've also read sensors from different vehicles and brands of TPMS sensors. The only feature not supported by this device is ODB2 Read/Write to make it easier to re-learn new sensors, especially when your old ones have failed and you cannot electronically or physically read the identifier. Otherwise everything is kept in the old video interface style. Definitely recommended if you only need basic features.
