Description of Enhance Your Tire Pressure Monitoring System with Autel TS508 Activation MX Sensor Pressure

Quick Mode & Advance Mode: As an upgrade version of TS501, TS408 and TS401, this TPMS reset tool comes with 2 TPMS service modes. Quick Mode provides basic TPMS functions to check TPMS sensors and program MX-Sensors quickly; TPMS Advanced Mode offers complete TPMS functions to perform sensor check, TPMS diagnose, MX-Sensor program, sensor position relearn and information. Choose the most suitable way to complete TPMS work to save time and energy. All Known TPMS Sensors: This TPMS relearn tool can read, activate, and relearn all known TPMS sensors in the market. This TPMS reset tool provides 3 ways to relearn sensors. Stationary Relearn requires the vehicle be placed in the “Learn Mode”. Automatic Relearn can be completed by driving. OBD Relearn allows TS508 to directly write TPMS sensor IDs to the TPMS module via its OBD connector, which is not available for TS408 and TS401. Programming Autel MX-sensor: Just Autel MX-sensor can be programmed by this TPMS tire pressure reset tool. This TPMS relearn tool can wirelessly program all Autel MX-sensors, both the 315 MHz and 433 MHz, via 4 ways to replace 98% of OE sensors in the market. With the OBD2 connector, this tire pressure monitor sensor reset tool gets one more way that is called Copy by OBD to program than Autel TS408 and TS401. Exclusive TPMS Status Screen: With this feature, the TPMS reset tool can read DTCs from ECU and erase DTCs, read ECU sensor ID, check sensor ID and ECU ID matching condition, and view DTCs detail description to inspect TPMS system health conditions, program MX-sensors and conduct TPMS relearn. There are 4 MX-sensor programming options: Copy by OBD, Copy by Activation, Copy by Manual Input, and Auto Create 1-16 Sensors.

This unit does NOT reset error code

It reads and stores the TPSM information for what reason I don't know as this information is useless to erase your flashing or solid dash light. It shows the battery level on the pressure gauge and the tire pressure without using a pressure gauge. I bought this device to be able to change the winter tires on my car, but this device does not work to clear codes. It is not possible to add an OBD unit to this device! A complete waste of money and I just passed the return window but 2 weeks away…

Pros
  • Great for me
Cons
  • Long delivery time

Doesn't detect sensor replacement, bad documentation

I bought it to detect a sensor replacement on Camry 2007. Important note: It does not program the ECU with new sensor IDs. If you have spinning tires or want to find out sensor ID, tire pressure and temperature, this is the right tool. If you've swapped out your sensors and want to program them into the ECU, this tool won't do it for you. Try the TS508 instead, or use a diagnostic reader like TopDon's ArtiDiag range to program new sensor IDs into the ECU (but you'll need one to read sensor…

Easy TPMS Scan and Update Tool

I used this to repair a recently purchased 2011 Hyundai Sonata for my sons. A tire malfunction was discovered two weeks after purchase. The tire shop charged $117 to have it checked because all the tires were properly inflated. Autel TS508 has detected a defective wheel sensor. The battery was dead. I replaced the wheel sensor with an Autel MX sensor 2 in 1, cleared the fault codes and then read the new sensor ID data. I then loaded the information into the car's ECM and drove around the block…

Easy. does his job. A little buggy. Bad documentation

That does what it says on most cars. Read/program/relearn TPMS sensors. This device allows you to program Autel MX sensors. The device comes in a very nice big plastic storage box with USB cable, power adapter, magnet (for old TPMS sensors), software CD and documentation booklet. The documentation recommends charging 2 hours before use, which is what I did. After charging, you should go to their website and download the latest updates. You can use the software CD that came with your device to…
