I used this to repair a recently purchased 2011 Hyundai Sonata for my sons. A tire malfunction was discovered two weeks after purchase. The tire shop charged $117 to have it checked because all the tires were properly inflated. Autel TS508 has detected a defective wheel sensor. The battery was dead. I replaced the wheel sensor with an Autel MX sensor 2 in 1, cleared the fault codes and then read the new sensor ID data. I then loaded the information into the car's ECM and drove around the block and the TPMS and low pressure gauges disappeared. Worked like a champ. Two weeks later the second tire failed. Walked around the car once and the TS508 showed a faulty sensor on the other wheel. I would definitely recommend this for the person doing it themselves. It has already paid for itself in two uses. Neighbors asked me to scan their tires and they had no problem reading Honda and Subaru.
