The leather is genuinely nice. The pebble grain is nice to the touch. The graining isn't so large it feels rough or coarse. The leather is soft and pliable. The inner lining is stitched together well. The handles are sewn on to the bag well as well as stitched together well. They are a comfortable size to hold in your hand. They aren't stiff or hard but at the same time they support the weight of the bag and items in the bag. The purse though it isn't a huge bag since it is a dome bag this allows for a lot to be crammed in it. The bag isn't heavy but once I crammed all my "necessary" items in it, it got heavy. Yet, it feels like it will have no problem carrying the weight. The zipper was also smooth opening and closing. I like the doctor style bag, it is a classic look that goes with everything. The brown is a perfect transition color to close out summer and move into fall. The dust bag that came with it is ample sized to put other bags in it as you use this one. Great neutral piece for any wardrobe.
