Review on Audubon Amber Oriole Feeder NA08 with Cut Glass Design by Judy Sena

Revainrating 5 out of 5

my piroles 'posted' this rating

In Spring 2013 I bought two of these beautiful glass oriole feeders. . . and have since enjoyed 3 species of orioles - Scott's, Bullocks and Baltimore - feeding on them during migration. So imagine my surprise when I went online to order a third feeder and found these low rated reviews. While I'm not discounting others, I just want to say that my experience with this design was perfect. In fact, this is one of my two favorite oriole designs. (My other favorite design is the multifunctional UFO-like feeder -- the Birds Choice 1009 Oriole-Fest Oriole Feeder -- which has grape jelly and orange and some nectar... but it's plastic.) The ambers haven't tarnished in four years, as opposed to my red hummingbird feeders of similar design which now almost match my amber oriole feeders. In my opinion these Oriole feeders are well made, fairly well maintained and easy to clean. (In fact they are like new.) Our first oriole of the season arrived yesterday, a young buffalo! He ate a Thrasher orange and I greedily made some nectar, filled the feeder and hung it on the porch. . . I'm so glad that Spring is here, migration is in full swing, and I can watch this aesthetically pleasing feeder through the fall.
