Very pretty but not practical

The first thing I thought was "wow, what a beautiful feeder". I was wondering how the portholes would hold up, they are rubber material and unfortunately within a week the holes were eaten by other birds. The problem is that it becomes more of an insectivore than an oriole feeder. Also, the feeder is small and doesn't even hold a cup of water, so I can't give this feeder a good rating anyway.

Orioles don't like this feeder

I bought this feeder 2 years ago after seeing Oriole trying to get drunk from a hummingbird feeder that was hanging on my patio roof . I hung it up in April and changed the nectar every week until summer was over and the orioles flew away without ever drinking from it. The next year I tried again, same routine. We saw many orioles but never attempted to drink from this feeding station. This is a nice orange glass feeder but will not attract orioles. I bought this because I wanted to complement…

In Spring 2013 I bought two of these beautiful glass oriole feeders. . . and have since enjoyed 3 species of orioles - Scott's, Bullocks and Baltimore - feeding on them during migration.
