This product is perfect for the use I intended it to be. I've tried to find simple ways in my daily life to reduce my family's waste and consumption of single-use items, ultimately reducing our impact on this planet. Paper towels were a huge disposable item for us! We use them for regular cleaning, kitchen clutter, kids clutter, dinners, you name it! So I decided to use reusable tissues, microfiber towels, etc. to reduce paper towel waste. I keep clean towels on top and dirty ones on the bottom to throw in the laundry when it's full. I wanted something that would fit on my desk for easy access but not totally hurt. It does the job! And I'll probably implement the same idea in our guest bathroom. Other Items: I purchased 12 x 12 microfiber cleaning cloths and a magnetic "clean" sign from Amazon. The other side of the magnet says "dirty" so I buy another one to put in the bottom basket. Disclaimer: Since I don't use it for fruit I can't comment on how well it will hold the weight of the bundle. apples but it seems to be quite robust. Also, carts are not static. They are attached to hooks that allow the basket to swing slightly, better balancing the weight held in the baskets.
