I have long hair (mid-back). It is typically European, slightly wavy and quite thick. So to look a little more professional I need to do one of two things: 1) straighten my hair or 2) curl it. (For some odd reason, "wavy" means too sloppy for my workplace.) Well, while a great flat iron is easy to find, a great curling iron is hard! So I am very happy to report that this curling iron has everything you need and more! First, it heats up quickly! (It took less than 30 seconds to fully heat up! Impressive!) Second, it rolls up easily! The curls produced are big, shiny and absolutely stunning! Now it gets very hot (like all similar products) so be careful. Feel free to use the included glove. (It really helps!) The swivel cord makes styling a breeze. That little touch makes a big difference. And finally, there is an automatic shutdown. So if you ever have those moments when you arrive at the office and then worry your flat iron/curling iron is still on, maybe you should put them aside! Another small but phenomenally valuable note! It easily exceeded all of my expectations. Undoubtedly, it is worth its price. I have a cheaper curling iron, but it doesn't give as clean results. and it doesn't protect my hair nearly as well as this one. This curling iron from LumaBella is now my favorite! Love it!
