I wore it to work every day for 5 months, walked 4-8 miles a day as a postman. They were soaked at least 5 times and dried with a fan. I am very impressed with how well they have held up. And (perhaps because everything is black) it didn't look very old. At 4 months the foam inserts started falling out and at 5 months my toes started digging a "hole" in it and the sole was worn out. I was so impressed with how they lasted so long that I bought another pair. My first impression was: very tight, after wearing it becomes uncomfortable. Cannot be opened like other shoes because of the strap. I don't wear wide shoes either, I've had narrow feet from the start and they're still narrow. But I think after wearing them a lot they started breaking more and I didn't notice it anymore but it took a while. Would definitely buy again (and did).
