"Bluetooth Toothbrush? " Yes,

This is quite an expensive toothbrush "system" but my dentist up to date with the latest technology , is a big Sonicare fan and keeps track of how well you're doing when switching dental appliances. So, on his recommendation, I bought an old version of this toothbrush (he had a very good deal) and a Waterpik WP100W Ultra Dental Water Flosser. So you can easily spend two to four Benjamins on dental care at home and not bat an eyelid. This latest version has an Android or iOS app and (ironically) BLUETOOTH. Why? So it can track your oral hygiene, educate you and remind you over the phone. It's kind of a gimmick, but it may be enough to encourage you to take better care of your teeth. I also bought UltraFlosser (Sales Intelligence) and now I have DiamondClean which adds interactive learning. I confess that I missed a two-minute brush every now and then because of the mopping and the promise. I think the app and coach will be helpful in encouraging me to be diligent. He also asks do you floss? OK. You can see if you did it or not and how often. Pros: Cool app. Choose a goal (whitening, gum health, breathing (tongue scratching), gaps between teeth. Different brush heads achieve this with instructions from the app. Interactive phone screens show you when to change quadrants and how long to brush, discipline. If you're using the wrong one motion, the head sends a message to the app 'use less motion' and it hasn't found my lower right (last quadrant) it takes a bit of fiddling to get the glass (real glass) in place what if that Glass breaks? So you can charge this brush via USB. So don't lose the case and break it. Brush Heads They have an RFID transmitter or something in each head. So that you need Rush Heads to interact with the phone app .Will your local pharmacy carry them in our rural town (even behind a locked cupboard?)?Probably no.So you need to get the right one e Have the model number ready and order online. Replacement brush heads for Philips Sonicare Premium White, HX9062/95, Smart Recognition, Black, 2 pcs. These are the ones that are more expensive and are NOT (yet) included in the subscription savings section. Fifteen headbutts. And how quickly do they wear out? Four months or less? Great (for Philips.) And it's THESE heads that, rather than looking similar (note the round badge at the base of the brush, denoting the smart transfer feature), are missing a small transmitter. IS IT WORTH? Yes. If you need instructions to ensure you are maintaining good oral hygiene, especially if you have periodontal problems. The phone app is interesting. I've been using Philips Sonicare for a while. In any case, it takes me a lot less time in the chair to decalcify my teeth and there is less tartar in my problem areas. The hygienist says she really knows when I'm using the best toothbrush, which is why I'm now taking it on vacation. It doesn't work without this. However, just using a toothbrush is not enough. When I came back for a check-up and cleaning, my dentist was thrilled. "Oooh, look, you have a DREAM!" What please tell is a pinpoint? He pulled out a hand mirror and pulled my lip back, exposing my upper gums. "See those white hard spots on the pink fabric? This is a healthy gum. When your gums are bad, they are dark pink and mushy. Healthy gums are firm and light in color and have a mottled appearance when they're really good.” OK. And they map periodontal pockets with a millimeter-scale probe. 1 or 2 is good. A 4 or 5 means that some of the gums have separated from the tooth and severe periodontitis is associated with at least two 6mm teeth and one adjacent 5mm tooth. Severe periodontal disease puts you at risk of losing your teeth and is also linked to heart disease (bacteria in pockets can get onto heart valves. I received this information directly from a professor at the University of Pennsylvania School of Dentistry that I study when I was working in science a few years ago.) You want to get rid of those deep pockets so brushing your teeth really helps, but add dental floss or floss or use whatever the dentist recommends, but do it. They remove plaque (a build-up of bacteria) and tartar that irritate the edges of your gums and help prevent serious problems in the future. So is this toothbrush a good idea? Yes. By the time you get to your next dentist visit, you'll see changes if you're diligent, using the timer and app, and making sure you reach the gums and edges of your teeth. Ask your hygienist to show you how to tilt your brush. You'll also need to floss or use an oral irrigator or some sort of interdental brush as this brush doesn't get in between the teeth, although it does a great job on the edges of the gums. Tongue cleaner helps with bad breath. (A white coating on the tongue can cause bad breath.)
