Disappointment in the microwave

I was excited to try this product but was extremely disappointed when I tried it in the microwave. I couldn't melt it smoothly. It stuck together every time I tried. To be able to use it at all I had to use the Douai Kessel method and was still having trouble getting this base to work. I've been making soup for a couple of years now so I'm not a beginner and yes I use a heat gun so overheating wasn't an issue.

Pros

Directions: Remove plastic. Cut the soap base into small pieces and place in a microwave-safe container. Heat over low heat in 30 second intervals. Stir in between until liquid. Be careful with hot soap as it can burn your skin. Soap can also be melted in a water bath. Add cosmetic color, cosmetic fragrance and skin-friendly additives. Pour into a convenient form. Let cool until firm. Unmold and wrap. Your newly created melt and pour soap is now ready to use!
