The main complaint about the boxes is that they have no way of keeping the lid closed. The lid simply sits on the bottom, with rear hinges. So in a spill, whatever I put in the container MAY squirt out because the lids won't close. The rest of the boxes/lids are of high quality. They are strong and will not crush. I doubt they will ever break with normal use. They can stack boxes on top of each other, but they don't have indentations on the lids to increase their ability to stay on top of each other. (I put a non-slip washcloth between each box I fold.) The lids are completely transparent, making it easy to see the contents of the box (but that means other people can also easily see your items). Even if the lids don't close, I would buy this item again. (Originally bought 6.)
