I'm satisfied, it's a good purchase.

All the ranting about the fact that f / 4 is not enough, they just haven’t played enough aperture yet. Imagine the same focal lengths at f/2.8 - the gl will be different sizes. We are talking about compact here, and this lens is very compact, comfortable and produces great pictures! Realistically f/4 is enough! At night, it doesn't matter what kind of "hole" you have 2.8 or 4, it will not be enough anyway. Tripod to help. I use any surface, bridge piers, lampposts and even curbs.

The lens is very good quality.
Of course, you will have to pay extra for the quality, and not a little.
Yuzal 18-200, 18-105, 16-50, 18-55. I chose 16-70 as the main one.

I also have a Canon Mark II with 24-70 f/2.8 and 70-200 f/2.8 IS + 580x flash, all this goodness, along with filters, chargers, batteries and other crap comes out under, you won't believe it, 8 kilograms! Of course, the mirror gives other shots, but I often missed good shots just because I didn’t have time to  the lens, or, it was corny, it was too lazy to lift two kilograms to catch the frame.

Pros

Execution quality. Everything is very well fitted, there is no backlash anywhere, the feeling of a quality product in the hands. Convenient focal lengths. Image stabilizer. Constant luminosity. A big plus is a mechanical zoom, unlike, for example, a drive zoom (from a motor) in a whale 16-50, as a result of which there is a feeling of complete control over the zooming process, because. there is no intermediate motor and, accordingly, a delay, plus battery savings (because the battery charge is spent on the motor). For me, this was one of the key factors when choosing a lens. Extract from Wikipedia: Tessar has a slightly higher aperture than the clic triplet, and better aberration correction. Gives a sharp and contrasting image, for which he received the nickname "Eagle Eye".

Cons

I think my opinion will not be subjective, due to the fact that there is no one to compete with the lens, the price is quite high. The most adequate price range should be one and a half to two times lower, i. E. approximately $450 - $600.
