Excellent fermenter. Easy to use. Decant directly from the fermenter into a keg with minimal sediment. I've read other reviews where brewers were disappointed that it didn't seem to reduce the volume of the beer. The solution is to leave the valve open at the bottom and attach a jug with twelve wide necks to it. Waste yeast/dirt is collected in the jar, keeping the walls clean. Then, with the added shut-off tap, it is easy to tap without a separate frame stick. The bottom valve must remain open during brewing. When you open it up and add the end, it sends an aerating cloud of spent yeast into your beer, creating unnecessary, clingy side mix. This fermenter turned out to be so clean that I didn't have to convert it to secondary as long as the technique outlined is used. The extra tap is great, but the plastic is tough. So be careful when drilling to avoid chipping. The best fermenter I've tried.
