More positive feedback on this product

This is the 4th update since I used it from early December 2018 to mid April 2019. Cleans well. Helps wipe food residue off plates with a paper towel over the bin, loaded plates and pots. I use cleaning capsules, usually only one per cycle, and the dishes still come out spotless. However, I would use the same procedure with a full size dishwasher as I don't like seeing or smelling food traps that have built up with food scraps. About once a month I run a cycle with just vinegar, no dishes, no soap just to make sure it's extra clean and smells fresh. All in all, this is an excellent product. I hate washing dishes by hand when DW isn't around, so this product was a real find for me and gave me back my time and freedom. Dishes and glasses get so clean on a 45 minute cycle, including pots and pans pre-wiped with paper towels, I know what I'm eating and cooking with clean dishes and cookware. Instead of washing dishes by hand, buy this product. This is the third update: after about 25 washes, this product continues to work well and reliably. I use the 45 minute setting, indicated by the glass/cup icon, which air dries the dishes beautifully. I am amazed at how clean the dishes come out. I recommend using this particular cycle for most of your regular needs and saving longer cycles for heavy washes. However, I recommend regularly wiping food residue off dishes and plates before loading the dishes. This keeps the filters clean and it's a small price to pay to keep your dishwasher running at peak performance. I also recommend checking the hose connections for tightness once a week and using the dishwasher at home to keep an eye on it, or at least be there if a hose slips. So far all hoses have stayed in place and I don't expect this to be a problem. If you are considering buying a tabletop dishwasher, I strongly recommend that you consider purchasing this product. Black+Decker has developed a great product here. Addendum to the review below: I've completed about 12 downloads since purchasing the device. It works well and washes dishes nicely while also cleaning them. I do however recommend that you only run the dishwasher when you are at home to ensure that the water is drained frequently, a few times during the cycle, through the quick connect valve and I think it is important to be close by be sure the hoses are still tightly connected. The hoses have stayed in place so far and I don't expect any problems. I plan on sanitizing the dishwasher once a week by running a short cycle with a drop of white vinegar and a tablespoon of baking soda while it's empty. This will disinfect the dishwasher itself and keep the quick release tap clean. This dishwasher has given me my kitchen back - no more dirty dishes that have to be washed by hand. I can now load the dishwasher with dirty dishes every day and run it later in the week as needed. This is orders of magnitude better than washing dishes by hand. Never wash dishes by hand again! I connected my new device yesterday and started the first boot process. The dishes were immaculate after the rinse cycle, which cannot be achieved by hand washing. And they are also disinfected. The dishwasher was well packaged and looked nice but it is all white with a stainless steel front handle. Nevertheless, it still cuts a fine figure in the kitchen. The product is well designed and well built. Remember to have Teflon tape handy when connecting the adapter to the faucet, as if you were changing shower heads in a bathroom. Teflon tape holds the threads in place. Yesterday I babysat the first load to get used to what she's doing during the wash cycle and now I'm babysitting the second load to reacquaint myself with how the dishwasher works when it drains the water mid-cycle etc. I do in an apartment or apartment building, it's a good idea to only turn the unit on when you're home so you can keep an eye on the hoses to make sure they stay in place under water pressure. I also don't mind removing large pieces of food from the dishes before loading them - I hate washing dishes by hand (the apartments in my house don't have dishwashers), so I'm happy to live with that minor inconvenience for convenience . it cleans my dishes wonderfully. Now I can organize my kitchen! I will write a second review later after using it for a few weeks. I expect to continue to be impressed. So I recommend you buy this product - it's number two on our top 10 desktop dishwasher list and I bought it because Black & Decker is a manufacturer I've trusted for years.
