Terrible product and even worse customer service. the pin holding the face cannot be lifted because it is blocked by the pin). I tried to contact the company to see if this is normal (cosmetic only) or if I received a defective item. After 5 calls, 2 voice messages and 2 emails I have had no reply. The product was a gift for my wife who loved it despite the flaw so she decided to keep it. After 5-6 uses (2 weeks) the heating element stopped working. After this error I tried several times to contact the company again with no response. I ended up going through Revain to get a refund but I missed the original shipping for the refund and I don't have the Christmas present I bought for my wife. It's also important to note that the cup loader prevents it from being in the cup holder. This means that using this item to warm up a drink on the way to work like my wife does means holding it all the way, propping it up securely or (in my wife's case) placing it in her center console for travel got to; very uncomfortable.
