Review on ๐Ÿšต Zefal 'Cristophe' Half Toe Clip for Mountain Bicycles by Joe Fulce

Revainrating 5 out of 5

If you want to go strapless it's the best deal in town

I compared Zefel to Delta's strapless toe clips: Some web browsers preferred Delta (smooth, lighter) over others rpt. They are poorly packaged and arrive bent due to the differential. size) - I chose the Zefal L/XL (the larger attraction) with no regrets, although I've ridden a few miles since then. The 2nd couple will foot the bill wisely. Size 11 shoes are easy to slip on and off for city trips and stopovers. Now if only manufacturers would give us the full service of making an affordable, high quality, big platform flat pedal that accepts toe clips because I'm so sick of the super duper grippy flats being sold in the MTB market I guess Smaller sized pedals may be worth the compromise. No instructions but installation is obvious and easy. The holes in the metal plate (French?) didn't line up with the holes on my pedal so I used shims to minimize stress on the cleats. Good luck, may the force be with you, and don't trust anyone on four wheels, SwanUPDATE: So good I bought a few extra pairs for $6 each; Able pkg'd, came too cute. Not like those strapless delta finger clips that others are considering arriving deformed. I lost a nut/washer/bolt, about 1/2 in a 20 mile ride I think - right leg seat was a bit off but I didn't look closely enough to notice what was up to the next day of preparation was not correct -driving checks. The toeklips were held in place by just one screw, more on the side that didn't seem any looser than when they were installed. So I intend to buy Blue Locktite (or one of a few other less expensive alternatives) and keep a closer eye on each loosening over time as it should withstand stress to a point that speaks of structural integrity - Re: being on top of things so they stand the test of time well, not testing the magnets would be cool? -Swan
