Find out the pros and cons before you buy

This is a fairly typical 1/4 inch torque wrench. Overall, the Titan feels well built and accurate. I checked the accuracy of this model and it was accurate to at least 40 in pounds. Buyers should be aware of the pros and cons of this type of torque wrench. Case in point: assuming the key shown in the description is set exactly to zero, this does not appear to be due to the angle from which the picture was taken red arrow 2. To ensure accuracy, the user must be careful when tightening the Keep looking at the sensor directly from above. This means a distraction from the tightened screw. Problems Turning the bolt can cause the object to be fastened to move. Pros: Unlike other types of torque wrenches, beam wrenches do not require recalibration. If the beam bends and no longer reads zero when at rest, it can be reset by simply bending the beam until the reading returns to zero. The problem with this particular button is that the pointer is free to rotate. While this makes it easy to get him back in position, he's also easy to knock out of position. In short, beam torque wrenches maintain their accuracy and do not need to be recalibrated. They're a bit more cumbersome for high frequency use, but for the person who only needs to tighten screws occasionally, they can be accurate and inexpensive. Addendum: The heads I bought for this wrench are difficult to install or remove. . This is partly due to the design of the bushings and the stiffness of the spring holding the detent ball. Other outlets were easier to install and remove.
