Great product! Excellent workmanship. Excellent materials. All the good things people say about Starrett? they are true I have several of their products and have not had a single complaint. I can't even think of a better way to do things. Buying Starrett products is like taking a giant leap into the past, when you could buy tools that weren't mass-produced by Chinese slave labor, garbage and saliva, and then mortgaged to an indifferent public by places like Harbor Freight. One suggestion others have made is to stick with the satin ruler. I've used others - the satin finish is great when dealing with lighting issues like bright spotlights or strong sunlight. Now I have to get a 12 inch. :)
