It's probably poisonous.

As soon as I took them out of the packaging, I had my suspicions. They are so heavily coated in resin that they look like plastic, especially melamine. I washed them with soap and they were sparkling clean, which is unlikely with this light wood. Even very dense wood usually doesn't crack when it's clean. They appear to be made of relatively high density wood that is fully impregnated with epoxy resin. Since the manufacturers don't tell us what temperature they're safe at, what type of resin it's in, or even if it's even food safe, I can't recommend it to anyone. On the one hand, I should have seen "Forbidden to use high-temperature materials". specify in the product description, but oh well. It's like buying stainless steel cutlery that has fine print that says "do not expose to water". When I buy wooden cutlery, I expect it to be wood, not plastic. TL; DR They're probably toxic, don't buy them. PS There were many negative reviews about this product but only one of them was not removed except mine. I'm just talking
