I bought this to go along with a handmade owl costume for my 2 year old daughter. She has a pretty small/normal sized head and it is pretty snug and doesnt cover her ears all the way. I was excited to be able to use it for more than just Halloween, but I'm not sure if it will be effective at keeping her ears warm. Otherwise it is VERY cute and well constructed. I got the purple and pink one, it is adorable. The long yarn on the sides looks so good and she loves wearing it. Just dont buy for big heads, it won't fit.
