Review on Transcend 64GB JetFlash 790 USB 3.0 πŸ” Flash Drive: Efficient Data Storage and Fast Transfer Speeds by Michal Wasowicz

Revainrating 4 out of 5

The right product for me, the price suited me.

(SOLVED!) I bought a JetFlash 790k 8Gb (black) for 350. The store indicated that the recording speed was 12mb / s, and on the package it was 6, it turned out that it was still 12, which was pleasantly surprised. I was very pleased with the purchase, until I discovered that the flash drive was unrealistically stupid in usb 2.0, in my laptops it was stupidly not detected and an error came out either 10 or 43. Once on a laptop it was accidentally detected, but in the process of writing a file an error occurred and the flash drive became depressed again. In the computer, it is still defined in 2.0, but the write / read speed of 1mb / s is also buggy. In general, I just accidentally discovered this jamb, I wanted to test the reading speed in 2.0. If not for this circumstance, I would probably put 5 points (no , I wouldn’t put 5, anyway, the flash drive is not so pleasant in terms of tactile sensations, and this is important for me, from the same sandisk, the feeling that you are holding a cool solid device, and it is not very light to the touch). The flash drive as a whole is worth the money.

Pros
  • JetFlash 790k 8Gb: -Direct read speed~90mb/s - Recording speed ~ 12mb / sec (6 was written on the package, so I was pleasantly surprised) - Cool design + no cap -Price (350) (changed the defective one for a new one for 305, they paid me 45 more :))
Cons
  • -(SOLVED) Does not work in USB 2.0 (in principle, now there is at least 1 3.0 port everywhere, so a dubious minus), took it to JAST where I bought it, they said the 2.0 controller flew off, changed it to the same one and also returned 45 due to the difference ( the price has dropped!). Everything is working now - wide, can interfere with plugging something into adjacent USB connectors - the latch mechanism is too simple and constantly moves when touched, at least after the SanDisk Extreme USB mechanism, which is apparently on a spring (its mechanism is nice to click back and forth and get high :))
