I have had many Vornados in my adult life and this is the most disappointing purchase of them all. What can I say? It's not very strong either in terms of airflow or in terms of design. The pivot is not strong enough to hold the fan in place. The clamp is complete nonsense. I installed this fan to be fixed to the bed so there is a nice breeze all night and it always falls in the middle of the night. I would return it if I could figure out how to do it but I can't so I'm stuck with this junk. I've since taken to using it with a stand and just letting it blow cool air under my kid's loft bed, but that's about all it can handle. I've had $30 box fans that work better than this crap.
