It worked fine for about 2 hours and broke when my dog knocked it over. I mean look at the booth. It's not that high. It hit him pretty hard, but I didn't expect the mighty magazine fan to break so easily after falling from 6" to 8". I've had cheap boxing fans that have withstood a lot more abuse from children and dogs, so much for a heavy demand. I wasn't impressed, especially the price. I hate writing bad reviews, you can count them on one hand.

Based on relatively good reviews I bought two of these fans to install in workstations where my teammates work within 3 to 6 feet of desks. + for fast delivery, but the fans themselves are not good. They're pretty loud, which makes you think they're pretty powerful, but they're not. Barely feeling the air moving over the tables (about 4ft from the fan). Pretty poor performance, I scheduled a return about 15 minutes after they arrived. finds the best fans that are worth the money.

This fan did not impress me at all. The clamp was useless. It didn't hold onto anything as it had rounded components instead of flat ones (so there was no way to securely attach it to something flat and strong like a table) and it wasn't strong enough to hold on to a cylinder-like rod. Vornado fans are very good quality, well made. I own several different sizes, they have had them for many, many years. I don't like the stand on this machine. The legs slide on the tiled floor, meaning the legs are spaced apart and do not "stand" higher. The legs hold up better on concrete or other rough surfaces, but an improved leg system is needed to allow them to be locked in place like the collar locks this unit already has. I have had many Vornados in my adult life and this is the most disappointing purchase of them all. What can I say? It's not very strong either in terms of airflow or in terms of design. The pivot is not strong enough to hold the fan in place. The clamp is complete nonsense. The problem is I was hoping to get a reliable fan that I could attach to my son's bed that is bigger and more reliable than many other mini fans you see for this purpose. Both the stand and claw mount are terrible for this fan. All fasteners are plastic, which causes the screw used to tighten the cam mount to break on first use, rendering it completely unusable. Why Vornado didn't use metal for any of the fasteners I don't understand, it's just a really dumb choice.
