Review on Computers Keyboard Connections 3840X2160 Supported by John Castle

Where has it been all my life? I bought this to reduce the need to switch between my home and work computers on my main screen. It works as advertised and is compact and passive, making the cable smaller and easier to hide behind the monitor. PROS: The hotkey functionality is PERFECT and makes it so convenient to switch between screens. Very little delay. I also LOVE the fact that the unselected computer reads the screen as "off" - which means my work laptop reverts to a screen when I switch back to my home computer so I can access everything. It also works well in combination with my gofanco HDMI extender which is a big plus since I don't have a home PC next to my monitor. CONS: I missed the part in the description that says the USB ports are for keyboard/mouse ONLY. I spent some time getting my camera working before giving up and just keeping my existing USB hub to connect my other peripherals to my home PC. In my case this is a small complaint as my camera doesn't need to switch back and forth but I could see where this could be a big problem for others so I gave no star. I am delighted with this purchase and am considering purchasing another one to use with the HDMI passthrough port on my Gofanco.
