They're a lot thinner than I thought they would be, but I really couldn't fit them to the back of my Fire tablet while it was in a case. In the end I somehow attached it to the case and not to the tablet itself. There were no problems with the front camera. I gave my wife one for her laptop and it connected with no problems either. There is a small "problem" in that there is no clear indication of whether the camera shutter is open or closed, so you might accidentally leave it open when you meant to close it. I think I can just paint a small stripe of nail polish on the case to fix this problem, but it would be nice if there were some more visible external signs. Especially with a black device, it's very difficult to tell if it's open or closed. Another problem is that the clasp falls off very easily when you try to peel off the sticky substance. They've re-fortified, but only time will tell how they hold up. At the moment for the price they were what I wanted. They cover my cameras and give me some confidence that I wouldn't see anything even if they were on.
