These batteries only last a few days

I bought these for our ZeroWater ZT-2 electronic water tester. I test the water when it starts to taste different, maybe once every few weeks. Every time I test the water the batteries die and I have to put in two new ones. Fresh batteries work fine during the test, but don't last long enough for the second test. I will never buy these batteries again.
