Review on πŸ‘’ Black Kamik Kids Winter Boots - Boys' Outdoor Shoes by Will Rahman

High quality Kamik (but not easy to put on)

I've been buying Kamik boots for my kids for YEARS and have never been disappointed. It's just a great brand and one of the first things that comes to mind when someone asks for a good shoe recommendation. The only issue I have with these boots are the laces and hooks. Yes they do have slip on boots but the top doesn't open wide enough for my son to easily put them on without undoing the laces from the top hooks. So he has to untie the laces on both sides from the top two hooks, put the boots on and then hook the laces back in, making sure they cross over. It's a big deal for the 11 year old boy I bought these for as he is always very careful with his belongings and is not the kind of kid who is always in a hurry. If it were my older child it would be a different story - I guarantee the connector at the top of the laces would break within days or the hooks would bend or break. (I'm not trying to be negative about my kid. I just know him. You know?) Conclusion: These boots are well made, like every other Kamik boot I've ever bought for my kids. But they are probably not the best choice for a child, who NEEDS basic slip-on boots or is not patient enough to handle laces. that would be another story - i guarantee the connector at the top of the laces or would break within a few days, or the hooks would be bent or broken.
