Two stars from an otherwise excellent product because there is no mention of the aluminum wire grounding. Otherwise you will get real thickness cable. See photos of the Rockford Fosgate vs. Boss cable. This Rockford 8AWG power cord is the right size and made from real copper, while all the fakes are smaller and made from aluminum or plated aluminum. Amperage is based on resistance per cross sectional area and length so it is really important for performance and safety that you are getting genuinely honest products. Ground cable cheap aluminum?! Instead of trying to brag about a copper power cord and forgetting to mention that ground, bump the price up a few bucks more and make it copper. The ground is part of the DC loop current path, not a magic seldom used wire like the switch box chassis ground. It must have the same properties as electricity or even be more stable than positive in the event of a fault! I'm sure RF thinks it's ok since it's only a few feet long. I am very disgusted with all these companies and their games, not to mention that one of the two wires is aluminum etc. It is very difficult to find REAL copper and it is true to size everywhere. Why lie? Just show what is.
