Enhanced Power-Only Amplifier Install Kit - Rockford Fosgate RFK8, 8 AWG Review

wire quality is good! But! fuse holder? It is open to elements based on its design. Not allowed in the engine compartment of a vehicle. I'm not sure what I'll do now that everything is installed. I'm not happy not to see/open this until it's all in. It's only a matter of time before water gets in there and shorts it out!

I have bought two Rockford Fosgate power kits for my last two cars and have had no complaints. The wire gauge is as it should be and the kit is of good quality. Installed a long time ago, everything is fine. If your amp requires 8AWG wire, this kit is a good buy for you! All you need besides what they give is an RCA cable and speaker wire, but I had an extra RCA cable and a bunch of speaker wire from the previous kit. As many other reviews say, this is a quality harness. The only reason I give 4 runs is because the ground wire is too short. It is also known that you need to buy an RCA cable. If I just reviewed the wire it would be a 5 star rating. I didn't think there were more than 1800 strands of copper, but the wire is very flexible and there's a lot of copper here. Just checking I would say the RF claims about their wire are correct. The only downside for some might be the look of the jacket; this is boring.
