"OFC": oxygen-free copper. Copper wire generally has slightly lower resistance and will hold more watts or amps at a given distance than aluminum coated wire. It's not a big difference, about 10-20%, aircraft grade aluminum wire is used for weight reduction, great for jets and helicopters. "CCA”: copper clad aluminum. It is aluminum wire coated with copper for corrosion resistance and conductivity. Copper is superior to copper clad aluminum, however, copper clad aluminum works great and most won't notice the difference. PROS: - real copper wire - oversized 4 gauge - super soft flexible insulation - ground wire pre-terminated with ring terminal - fuse holder works great and easy - comes with AMP wire - fuse set up and ready to go - great value! CONS: - The packaging was plastic that almost cut your finger trying to get inside! - The fuse holder is NOT waterproof or even waterproof. The amplifier wire is very thin, perhaps the ground wire 22 was covered with CCA copper. Please see my photos of this cable set versus the 0/1 gauge sound box set.
