I'm a beginner and these were my first pair of bib shorts. They are incredibly comfortable and after riding them for a few months I think they are still great quality at a low price. The pillow is not bulky, but offers good cushioning. They fit very well and feel like a second skin to me. The leg is the perfect length and always stays comfortably in place. They have a cozy leg pocket to keep things like medicine or a cell phone close at hand. They also flatter the female figure very well. I have since bought a few bibs from other brands and they are still my favorite pair.
