I haven't had it long, maybe about 2 weeks or so but it is bright. When I first turned it on it was facing my face and it blinded me. Was passing attention to the button not the light, lol. My son was playing with it and left it in so I had to charge it and the light indicated when it was charged. I keep it in the truck mostly for emergency lights in case something happens at night while driving. I even tried to check to see if it lit up my grass area in front of our house so we could play football or volleyball at night. it lit it up pretty nicely but we haven't tried actually playing in it yet. Would definitely recommend especially if using it for car problems at night because you could just stick it to your hood with the magnet. The magnet could be a little stronger though but too strong might ruin your paint.
