We have two little puppies who need to stay small enough to use these slings even when they grow up. This summer they are warm enough for dogs to wear, but we use them to carry treats, water and other puppy training essentials. By the fall, they should come to us for a walk, and the dogs get tired - they have very short legs and like to rest in a sling. I only gave 3 stars for safety reasons as they are not fully adapted to being carried in a sling - they stick their heads out and can easily come out if we are not watching them closely, even with the buttons fastened. We will teach them to stay at home. Love the zippered pockets for treats, leashes, feed pouches and whatnot.
