I lost my surface pen and read the good reviews about this pen so I thought I'd buy it. I have used my friends pens which they bought for around the same price and found some of them to be very good! I had it for about 2 weeks and it was a nightmare. The pen lags when you're writing fast as it simply skips the first part of your stroke, making your writing illegible unless you're writing slowly, which isn't possible in fast-paced lessons. The nibs aren't the same as Surface nibs, so you can't switch to a soft nib that doesn't make a jingling noise every time you write. Maybe 1 out of 5 times the pen won't turn on no matter what buttons you press or hold and you have to remove and reinsert the battery to make it respond again. I would return it but I don't have the box (as I liked it when I got it) and I need a pen for school. This is a nightmare, take something else, don't take this pen.
