My son is 13 years old, he is 14, about 5ft 0in, weighs 102lbs. He's slim so I went for a 14, although a slim 16 is usually better for him due to his leg length. These pants work as long as they sag a little. I didn't want to go back so he will be wearing a large shirt to hide the visible 1/4-1/2 inch boxers. He must wear pants below the waist and show some boxer shorts. I'm not advocating even a little sagging, but in this case, like Ugg, I'm tired of sending clothes back because those size charts suck.
