So I was a bit reluctant to give a review for this coffee. I've ordered it several times with no problems so I'll post this here and hope for the best. Many other reviews have complained of stale coffee or no vacuum when opening the jar. I haven't experienced that yet. Also, Illy coffee has a birth date and expiration date on the bottom of the can, so you always know how fresh it is. I usually prefer to buy locally roasted coffee within 2-3 days of roasting. but Illy is by far the best coffee brand in the grocery store. There is no ban. No words are spared here. If you are looking for quality bulk coffee then Illy is your choice. There's better coffee. Not in the grocery store. I ordered Ethiopian beans. I'm a big fan. The oldest can I ever received was about three months old. It's older than I'd like, but it's on par with what you'll find at the grocery store. The only thing I don't like about Illy is that they give two years until their coffee goes bad. Sorry, coffee doesn't last that long. The standard six months that other companies allow pushes the boundaries a bit. But I haven't found a can of Illy coffee that old yet, so we're good.
