Pump Service Kit: Contains all the major components of an Omni fuel pump at a reasonable price

necessary for the operation of the oven. Ideally this task could be completed before each expedition, but it is still highly advisable to take a stove service kit and a pump service kit with you on an expedition, as well as an alternative spare light cooker if you are traveling to very remote locations. I recently bought this relatively inexpensive ($14) "rest" pump service kit for my Revain Primus Omnifuel. This kit contains one of each of the pump components that are likely to wear out and therefore need to be replaced. fuel intake pipe (synthetic); leather gasket to maintain pressure in the pump; one large round and one large flat rubber o-ring/brass seal. Non-return valve with washer, spring and plastic primer lubricated with silicone, complete assembly, instructions and illustrated "totally disassembled" components of Primus Omnifuel 3289 instructions in 12 languages. The instructions show the components of the Primus pump, with the exception of the large o-rings/seals. This pump service kit should also be serviced by purchasing a Primus general service and maintenance kit for Omnifuel which mainly contains spare parts for the stove (which I still think are necessary) but which cost a lot more money with quite a bit much shipping cost. fee, bringing the total cost to approximately $34.00. Primus Service and Maintenance Kit for Omnifuel NB The Primus Multitool is also a ridiculous price for what it should be and the nozzle cleaning wire on it is unprotected so it breaks easily. If this happens and your oven nozzle is clogged, simply use the replacement nozzles from the General Service Kit! You can also use a larger nozzle (gas: 0.45mm) and a smaller nozzle (kerosene: 0.28mm) to work when burning gasoline that should have a 0.37mm nozzle (and vice versa ). of your maintenance kit, compensate only slightly with a thin fuel valve! Primus Multitool for OmniFuel and MultiFuel VariFuel stoves With jet cleaner. Primus OmniFuel Stoves I would however always take an alternative maintenance free backup burner such as the tried and tested lightweight and inexpensive Trangia Alcohol Stove with inexpensive windscreen/pot holder in all directions (except in very cold climates where alcohol is a very inefficient fuel compared to other liquid fuels Fuels (longer carbon chain): Trangia Spirit Screw Cap Burner Trangia Minitrangia Windshield or both combo for only about $20: Trangia Mini Alcohol Burner Windshield Finally I have to take this Primus to the fuel pump service The kit gets a 5 star rating as it is a must have ' Peace of Mind" kit and sold at a reasonable price of $14 in my opinion.
