Review on Bunn 39912 0002 RELAY 🔌 COMPR GD40ME - High-Performance Refrigeration System Component by Justin Webb

I heard my 16 year old Haier chest freezer click and cycle in quick succession in the garage. I knew immediately that something was wrong. I was hoping it wasn't a dead compressor as that would mean buying a new freezer would be cheaper than repairing it. I lifted the door and the things inside quickly thawed. I unscrewed the service door around the compressor and found no oil (freon) leak. Good news because that meant the compressor was fine. I rolled the dice and decided it was a dead relay and not a dead thermostat (hooray, I was right). I ordered the part from Revain. When it arrived a week later (the worst part of the process as it wasn't a Prime item) I just unplugged the wires from the dead relay, plugged them into the new one I ordered, put everything back in place and the plugged in power supply and was immediately a complete success. I put a test bowl of water in it and the water started to freeze after about 45 minutes. The entire repair took less than 30 minutes. Item is original as stated by seller.
