Review on 🔥 Enhance Braking Performance with Power Stop K6374 Front Z23 Carbon Fiber Brake Pads and Drilled & Slotted Brake Rotors Kit by Mikey Jackson

Installed it on a '13 Explorer Sport and was happy with the results. Factory brakes did stupid things when they got hot. The Power Stop kit took care of all of those issues. Outside the gate, the braking distance wasn't as good as it came from the factory, but the clear chamfering of the pad doesn't convey full contact either. Now that they've been running for a while, stopping distances have reduced and the shudder and other issues that were present with the factory brakes have gone. I followed the break-in procedure strictly and at first one of the rotors had uneven wear, but after a few weeks it eventually went away. The only thing I've come across that doesn't deserve a score but is worth noting is that there are springs riveted to the pads that aren't on the factory pads. The springs essentially keep the pads off the caliper and pistons when the brakes are not applied. Unfortunately, the springs also make installing new pads a bit more difficult than replacing the originals. This is not insurmountable, but will likely slow down the installation.
