*Update. After wearing them around the house for a few hours they were very uncomfortable and we ended up sending them back. They had a stain that started rubbing even when worn casually inside. Too bad they ended up in the return pile and our search had to continue. My kid is SUPER picky about shoes. A rough spot, an odd arch support, or a spot that rubs and he's out. We have ordered a water shoe from almost every brand. It was exactly what he was looking for. Tongue covers any itchy/scratchy spots found on other pairs, they have a strong grip perfect for going up/down the river,
