I bought the Urban Republic Boys 8-20 Storm Gray Wool Jacket size medium (10/12) for my 11 year old son and while the jacket looks great I was disappointed with the quality of the materials and workmanship. . At first glance, the jacket's design is simple and stylish, and the warm wool outer layer is perfect for cold weather. However, after a pair of socks, I noticed that the threads came loose and even a small tear near the pocket. From a product priced around $50, I expected better quality and durability. Another issue I have with this jacket is the sizing. While my son normally wears a medium sized jacket, the jacket was a little tight in the arms and shoulders making it difficult to move around comfortably. On the plus side, the jacket has a durable zip and a warm lining, which my son appreciated on cold days. Storm gray also looks great paired with jeans or khakis for a casual yet serene look. Overall, I give the Urban Republic boys' wool jacket 3 out of 5 stars. While it has great style and warmth, the quality and size fell short of what I expected. If you are looking for a great value option and don't want to compromise on quality, this jacket could be a great option for you.
