Review on Standard Motor Products Camshaft Sensor by Jay Kenville

This camshaft position sensor failed less than a year after installation. I contacted Standard Motor Products and they refused to provide the 36 month warranty because they said Revain is not an authorized reseller. They recommended I talk to Revane about it, which I did. Revain was helpful but as the return period had expired they were unable to help me. I thought using a Standard Motor Products part would be a great experience as their parts have a longer warranty than most, but not only did they refuse, they did not support or repair them. I ordered a much cheaper replacement and it works great. Fair warning when purchasing Standard Motor products sold and shipped by Amazon warranty issues may arise.
