I've struggled to find a good affordable vacuum that will last. I have yet to find it but I will say it is the worst vacuum cleaner I have ever had. The first thing I noticed was the scratching on the baseboard, which is almost impossible to remove even with a magic eraser. Second, it's bulky and had a terrible smell for the first few weeks. The brush roller does not turn off when using the hose, so be careful if it tips over. The hose suction is terrible too. The brush roller also damaged one of my rugs and my sofa. The dial to adjust the roller is tricky to use, so I just leave it on the highest setting after noticing damage to my carpet. Then today after vacuuming my couch I noticed that it was damaged as well. I had to turn the pillow over to hide how awful it looked. Also, it doesn't always turn on. The absolute worst vacuum cleaner. Do not buy.
