Quality above its price range!

I was a Sperry man for a while, admittedly because that's all I knew. I stumbled across them at a significant discount and couldn't say no. I was amazed at the quality of the leather and the construction of the shoes. I am a size 13 from almost all shoe manufacturers. I also have a normal wide foot. I hate wearing socks and one of the things I've found that I think is related to the quality of the leather is that these shoes still smell like new (I've had them for about 6 months ). Stylistically, I like the versatility. I wear them with everything. These are my everyday work shoes, but they also go well with shorts. I also hate lacing my shoes, so I prefer to wear shoes. However, the presence of laces allows you to compensate for any stretches that may occur over time. Leather laces don't come undone either, which is nice. My only complaint is that they are not in the other colors that I like in my size. To compare them to some Sperrys, I think they should be comparable to Gold Cup Sperrys, but I bought them for significantly less. I have regular $100 sperrys and they are great, just the leather is different, almost too soft and not as durable as the sperrys. If I'm not mistaken, Sebago is a very good quality Horween leather. I am very excited about this shoe!
