Took me about 5 minutes to replace this. I live in a hot climate where it is now over 100 degrees. I think loosening the glue and removing the original fairing definitely helped. Some YouTube tutorials say to heat it up with a hair dryer first. I didn't have to do this. I did not use the tools that came with it. I only used a knife to remove the original panel. I messed up the shifter in the top right corner with it a bit, but that was my own fault. I'm sure you could avoid damage by using something other than a knife. Just be careful. There are many tutorials on YouTube for this.
