Great analog office phone with great speakerphone - beware of flicker

I work for a company that doesn't support "computer audio" phone solutions. For various reasons, they don't use Zoom, Skype for Business, Teams or IP softphones. Instead, they redirect their VoIP calls to their personal phones and use the "Call Me" feature in web meetings. I hope that changes, but for now it's the way it is. In any case, I've found that using my cell phone is incredibly unreliable. Half of the calls forwarded go straight to voicemail, which is very frustrating. I decided to use a landline phone, but I didn't have an available outlet or phone in my office. I'm an avid speakerphone user, I hate headsets. I used a Jabra 410 USB speakerphone at my last company and loved it. I needed an analogue for my new office phone. I first looked at the Ooma Telo + DP1 Home Office Phone Bundle because the DP1 was a "wireless wired" business phone. But the idea of paying for the services I already had through CableCo's Triple Play, even though Ohm is only about $5 a month, bothered me deeply. So I put up with it, ripped out my drill and fishing lanyard, and lugged the RJ-11 into my office like it was 1992 again. Then I did a lot of research and realized that when it comes to analog phones, you have very few options. There were many AT&T models that honestly looked cheap and had average reviews. There were a lot of VTech phones, now I have a cordless phone, but there were no wired business phones, except big ones. Then I found this Motorola. Perfect! It's a bit big and I didn't really need the DECT functionality, but it's nice to have. An answering machine is useless, almost every landline service (now all VoIP over the cable network/FIOS) has a voicemail. But the speakerphone is AMAZING. Very loud and the quality is amazing - I tested it with my wife and she couldn't tell I turned it on through the speaker. My only minor complaint is the random blinking - on the base it doesn't really matter, but on the phone the LED is like a bright disco and I can't figure out why it's blinking randomly or how to stop it! I originally had a wireless bedside table, I moved it out of the bedroom - it was so bright. I've tried everything I can to stop it by deleting all my voicemails, clearing my missed calls list, etc. However, it flashes and does make fun of me Flicker aside, though, this is a great phone. This is the closest thing to an enterprise-grade VoIP phone from Polycom or Cisco for an analog system. I also assume this will be one of the last as the POTS system continues to die.
