Very nice set. You will have the best tools. Having a full set of sockets sounds like a no-brainer, but they are extremely durable and come in all sizes, deep and standard, for almost any application. It seems like every time I get them for work someone comments on them and asks where to get a set! A small update after a few months of use, they are quite heavy and they look new with no scuffs or dents! I just can't express how happy I am with the quality of this set, yes it's a bit more money than cheap stuff but if you don't lose it you'll probably have a great legacy toolkit. to your son!
